The Last Day in Ecuador – by Zac

The day started off pretty relaxed, we walked to the place the we ate breakfat that had a great veiw of the ocean, and the town. After breakfast we walked back to the bus and drove the 10 miles to Canoa.  When we got there we checked into the hostel and changed for surfing.

Once we got to the surf lesson we spilt into 2 groups and some of us went swimming while the other group surfed. After both groups did the lesson we went to lunch and had a chill rest of the day with some time to swim and walk around. After that we had a debrief and dinner and more time to hang out and walk around.

At our debrief we shared our Top 10s from the field program and then had a gratitude meeting. Overall It was a great last day with lots of things to do and lots of opportunities to try new things. This afternoon we began our 30 hours of travel home to the snow.
